June 2025 Events in The Triangle: Summer is Here!

How are we already halfway through 2025?? It's wild. Believe it or not, summer is here and we’ve put together a list of some of the best things happening this month in the Triangle. Whether you’re looking for festivals, food, live music, or family fun, we’ve got it all! June is going to fly by.

Featured Event:

Linked and Inked

On Saturday, June 7 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, head to The Green at Vintage Raleigh West (1000 Vintage Creek Dr, Raleigh) for Linked and Inked, a pop-up event celebrating all things permanent. The event features flash sheet fine line tattoos, piercings, permanent jewelry, lip blushing, fairy hair, and even custom trucker hats. It's free to attend and includes drinks and local vendors on-site. Tattoo sign-ups begin at the door starting at 11 AM, while all other services are first come, first served.

  1. TST Soccer Tournament

    When: Wednesday, June 4 – Monday, June 9 | Times vary

    Where: WakeMed Soccer Park, Cary, NC

    Cost: $40+ (price depends on day)

    Description: A fast-paced 7v7 soccer tournament featuring professional players, former pros, and celebrities, all competing for a $1 million prize.

  2. Gibson Play Plaza Grand Opening

    When: Friday, June 6 – Sunday, June 8 | 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

    Where: Dorothea Dix Park, 1030 Richardson Dr, Raleigh, NC

    Cost: Free

    Description: Celebrate the opening of Gibson Play Plaza with a weekend of community activities and family-friendly fun hosted by Dix Park Conservancy.

  3. Raleigh International Food Festival

    When: Saturday, June 7 | 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

    Where: City Plaza, 200 Fayetteville St, Raleigh, NC

    Description: Enjoy food, desserts, and goods from around the world with over 130 vendors and two stages of live performances.

  4. Linked and Inked

    Cost: Free to attend

    Description: A pop-up event focused on all things permanent: flash tattoos, piercings, permanent jewelry, and more. Enjoy drinks, shop small, and browse services like lip blushing, fairy hair, and trucker hats. Tattoo sign-ups begin at 11 AM at the door.

  1. Board Games & Speed Dating (Ages 25-39)

    When: Wednesday, June 11 | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

    Where: Ponysaurus, Iron Works Dr, Raleigh, NC

    Cost: $30–$35

    Description: Meet new people over board games. A host will guide you through multiple rounds of games in small groups. At the end, you can connect with others for potential dates or new friendships.

  2. Nascar Regional - Advance Auto Parts 160

    Description: Regional NASCAR racing returns to Wake County Speedway. Expect close racing and rising stars at this local track just outside Raleigh. The perfect Father’s Day activity.

  3. NC Hops Fest

    Where: Midtown Park at North Hills, Raleigh, NC

    Description: Sample unlimited craft beer from North Carolina breweries, browse local vendors, enjoy food trucks, and catch live music throughout the afternoon.

  4. Capital City Juneteenth Celebration

  1. 301 Endless Yard Sale

    When: Friday, June 20 – Saturday, June 21 | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Where: Along US Highway 301 through multiple towns

    Cost: Free

    Description: This 100+ mile yard sale features everything from antiques and vintage finds to everyday household goods. Popular with collectors and casual shoppers alike.

  2. Out! Raleigh Pride

    When: Friday, June 20 | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM (18+ only) Saturday, June 21 | 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM (All ages)

    Where: Fayetteville Street, Downtown Raleigh, NC

    Cost: Free

    Description: Downtown Raleigh hosts a two-day Pride festival with live music, food, vendors, and activities for all ages. Friday’s programming is adults-only; Saturday is family-friendly.

  3. Summer Solstice Sunset Yoga

    When: Friday, June 20 | 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

    Where: Museum Park, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC

    Cost: Donation-based or ticketed
