Join Suzy Hasanin—lifelong crochet artist and founder of Mystic Valley Boutique—for a hands-on, welcoming crochet workshop designed for all skill levels. Suzy believes that once you understand the fundamentals, you can crochet anything, and she’s here to help you unlock that potential.

Each participant will receive their own crochet hook and ball of yarn to keep, while beginners are guided through the essential building blocks of crochet. More experienced crocheters are equally welcome and can receive personalized tips, technique refinement, and project inspiration to elevate their craft.

Enjoy the nation’s only festival dedicated specifically to pimento cheese! Join more than 50 food vendors at Downtown Cary Park to savor the flavor of incredibly unique pimento cheese infused dishes. Previous years have seen creative culinary feats including pimento cheese ice cream (don’t judge ‘ til you try), pimento cheese egg rolls, pimento cheese empanadas, and much more.
