For the third-consecutive year, the YMCA will convene a community gathering in recognition of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s National Day of Racial Healing. This annual event brings people together across differences to reflect on our shared humanity and inspire collective action toward a more just and equitable world.
This year's program will feature a keynote address from Rev. Chalice Overy of Pullen Memorial Baptist Church, whose leadership and voice will ground the morning in reflection, dialogue and purpose. Attendees will also enjoy a musical performance and remarks from community leaders.
Hosted at First Chronicles Community Church, the event provides a welcoming space for community members to engage in meaningful conversation and consider how we can each contribute to healing and equity in our communities.
