Week of March 1st - March 7th

  1. Juniper Level Botanic Garden Winter Open House

    When: Friday, March 6th - Sunday, March 8th

    Where: Juniper Level Botanic Garden

    Cost: FREE

    Description: If you’ve never been to Juniper Level, this is your sign. They only open to the public a few times a year, and it’s truly one of Raleigh’s hidden gems.   2. Her Voice, Her Power: International Women’s Day Celebration

  3. Triangle Yoga Fest

    Description: If you’ve been wanting to try a new workout class or just reset for spring, this is such a fun way to do it. Triangle Yoga Fest brings together instructors and wellness vendors from around the area for a full day of movement and mindfulness.

    Description: The City of Raleigh hosts its annual adoption day to help connect adoptable pets with loving homes. You can meet dogs, cats, and other animals, chat with staff about the adoption process, and maybe even leave with a new best friend.   1. Raleigh Underground Market

    When: Sunday, March 8th from 11am - 3pm

    Where: Midtown Park, North Hills

    Cost: $56+

    Description: You know we love a good local market. This one features vintage finds, artists, handmade goods, and small businesses. It’s such an easy Sunday plan — grab coffee and go browse!

  2. Animate! Raleigh

    When: Friday, March 13th - Sunday, March 15th

    Where: Raleigh Convention Center

    Cost: Tickets starting at $50 depending on package; Kids 9 and under get in free!

    Description: If you’re into anime, cosplay, gaming, or pop culture, this weekend is for you. Think panels, celebrity guests, costumes, vendors, and tons of energy. It’s always a big one!

  3. St. Patrick’s Day Parade

    When: Saturday, March 14th from 10am - 12pm

    Where: City Plaza - Downtown Raleigh

    Description: Put on something green and head downtown! The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is always such a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate — floats, performers, music, and lots of festive energy!

  4. Staying Alive Special Exhibition

Week of March 17th - March 23rd

  1. Art in Bloom

    When: Wednesday, March 18th - Sunday, March 22nd

    Where: NC Museum of Art

    Cost: $50, Members $45; Free for children six and under; Limited capacity

    Description: This is one of the prettiest events of the year. Floral designers create arrangements inspired by pieces of art throughout the museum — and it’s stunning. Even if you just walk through, it feels like the official start of spring.

  2. Cary Night Market

    When: Friday, March 20th from 5pm - 9pm

    Where: Downtown Cary Park

    Cost: FREE

    Description: An evening market with local vendors, food trucks, and live music? Yes, please! It’s such a fun Friday night plan and a great excuse to explore downtown Cary.

  3. Marchtoberfest at Clouds Brewing

    When: Saturday, March 21st & Sunday, March 23rd

    Where: Clouds Brewing - Raleigh; 1233 Front StreetRaleigh, NC, 27609

    Cost: Free

    Description: Seasonal brews, festive vibes, and a lively crowd. If you’re looking for a casual Saturday afternoon with friends, this is an easy add to your calendar!

  4. LUNGe Forward 5K Run

    When: Saturday, March 21st

    Where: Koka Booth Amphitheatre

    Cost: Tickets starting at $20 (Lung Cancer Survivors can participate for free)

    Description: Start your Saturday by getting a little movement while supporting a great cause! This community 5K is held at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, which means great views and fresh air. Run it, walk it, cheer from the sidelines… it all counts.

Week of March 23rd - March 31st

  1. Raleigh Tea Festival

    When: Sunday, March 22nd from 9am - 3pm

    Where: Maywood Hall & Garden

    Cost: $18 Admission Fee

    Description: Calling all tea lovers! Sample blends, learn about brewing techniques, and meet vendors from around the region. It’s cozy, unique, and a little different from your typical festival.

  2. Raleigh Comedy Festival

    When: Thursday, March 26th - Saturday, March 28th

    Where: Various locations around Raleigh

    Cost: $82-$93 depending on ticket type

    Description: A whole weekend dedicated to laughs! Local and touring comedians perform at venues around downtown, so it’s perfect for a fun night out.

  3. Raleigh Roasts

    When: Saturday, March 28th from 9am - 1pm

    Where: City of Raleigh Museum

    Cost: $15 per ticket (FREE for City of Raleigh Museum Members)

    Description: If you’re a coffee person (same), you’ll love this. Raleigh Roasts brings together local coffee shops and roasters for tastings and caffeine-fueled fun. Great excuse to discover a new favorite spot!
